Peanut aged 51, 1077 Hawkinson Ave., Galesburg, died at 2:40 PM Friday, January 4, 2008 in OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.
He was born January 26, 1956 in Galesburg, the son of J. Wayne and Phyllis Lucille Johnson Buck.
He is survived by a brother, James (and Sylvia) Buck, Newburgh, IN, 4 sisters, Judy Shotts, Naperville, IL, Susie (and Everett) Ferguson, Davenport, IA, Sally (and Joe) Vacca, Galesburg, and Patty (and Jim) Partain, West Point, GA, uncle and aunt, Malcolm and Mary Briggs, Sun City, CA, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.
He had worked as a deliveryman for Anderson Florist and had worked in construction and as a bartender. He graduated from Galesburg High School in 1974.
Funeral will be 3 PM Sunday, January 6, 2007 in Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel. David Scholl will officiate. Visitation will be 2 to 3 PM Sunday at the chapel. Cremation will be accorded following the service. Memorials may be made to the family.
