Mark K. Clayton, 55, Galesburg, died at 10:05 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012, at home. He was born April 10, 1956, in Galesburg, the son of John W. and Geraldine Starr Clayton. He is survived by his mother, Geraldine Starr McVay of Galesburg; two brothers, Michael W. McVay and Jeffrey L. McVay, both of Tarpon Springs, Fla.; and a sister, Jody L. Clayton Sutton of Abingdon. He was preceded in death by his father.
