47, 367 Charter Oak Place, Oak Run, Dahinda, IL died at 11:30 PM Sunday June 13, 2004 in OSF St. Mary Medical Center, Galesburg, IL.
He was born August 2, 1956 in Galesburg, IL, the son of John and Shirley Cissell Healey. He married Tammie Hall in Colorado in 1982.
He is survived by his mother, Oak Run, Dahinda, IL, one son, Daniel J. Healey, Thornton, CO, one daughter, Maggie Healey, Oak Run, Dahinda, IL, one brother, John M. (and Betsy) Healey, The Woodlands, TX, and two sisters, Carol (and Neil) Neckolaishen, Knoxville, IL and Patty (and Lyndon) Sauter, Dahinda, IL. He was preceded in death by his father.
He graduated from Galesburg High School in 1974 and Carl Sandburg College in 1982. He received an associate's degree in science from Front Range Community College in 1990 and received a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Colorado in 1996. He received his certification as a building instructor in 1989 and certification as a mechanical inspector in 1990 all in Colorado. He was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa-International Scholastic Society.
He worked as a maintenance manager at Phil Long Ford, Littleton, CO, and later was a self employed Contractor/Carpenter in Lakewood and Golden, Colorado for many years.
Cremation will be accoreded. Memorial graveside services will be 10 AM Friday at Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Joseph Presley will officiate. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 PM at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel. Memorials may be made to the family to establish an education fund for the children.
