Joseph B. Morrissey, Galesburg Chapel
52, of 828 Locust St. Galesburg died at 3:05 PM Monday September 21, 2009 at this home.

He was born October 2, 1956 the son of Joseph E. Morrissey of Galesburg. He married Linda D. Gau on June 4, 1977 in Trinity Lutheran Church.

Joseph is survived by his wife Linda of Galesburg; his father Joseph Morrissey of Galesburg; a son Nicholas D. Morrissey of Galesburg; a daughter Amanda J. Morrissey of Brielle, NJ; a brother Anthony K. Morrissey of Galesburg and a sister Carin (Bob) Franey of Galesburg.

He was the owner of Quality Carpet Care for 27 years. He was baptized in the Catholic Faith.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Friday at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel. The Rev. Curt Lipe will officiate. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 PM Thursday at the chapel. Cremation to be accorded. Memorials may be made to the Guardian Angels Humane Society or to the Milk Fund. Online condolences may be made at
