Catherine J. "Cathy" Martin-Russell, 40, of Phoenix, Ariz., for the past 13 years, formerly of Galesburg, died at 9:18 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, 1996, at her parents' home in Galesburg. Born July 24, 1956, in Galesburg to Jack L. and Janet G. Carlson Martin, she married James L. Russell on June 17, 1978, in Galesburg. He survives. Also surviving are her parents; two brothers, Michael L. Martin and Mark D. Martin
