Marc Dickson


Marc H. Dickson, 63, of Sun City Center, Florida, formerly of Galesburg, died Wednesday, April 3, 2019 in Kindred Hospital in Tampa, Florida.

He was born December 12, 1955, in Galesburg, the son of Harold L. and Lorraine (Malmrose) Dickson.

He is survived by two brothers, Alan Dickson of Sun City Center, Florida and Ross Dickson of Glendale, Arizona; a sister-in-law, Beverly Dickson of Palmetto, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Lee Dickson.

Marc was raised and educated in Galesburg, graduating from Galesburg High School and Carl Sandburg College.  He maintained a long career in finance.  Marc was a member of South Bay Church in Riverview, Florida.  He enjoyed religious studies and was an ordained minister.

Marc also enjoyed home renovations and golfing.  He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.  He had been a little league coach.

Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 12, 2019 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services Galesburg Chapel.  Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 13, 2019 in Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev.
