Her burial will be held at Ft. Jackson National Cemetery at 1400 (2pm). Mom will be buried with full Military Honors. Repass will be held at Chistian Faith Fellowship after burial.
To The Family of Malinda Oliver-Bruce, I met Malinda in the Sixth Grade at Weston School, Galesburg, Illinois. Malinda set behind me in class and towards the end of class, she tied my long hair in the ink well of her desk, when i got up to leave i fell back in my set and she just laughed hahaha! Her cousin Denver set across from me and he said you better not tell the Teacher or Principal she done that. But the next morning I did tell the Principal and nothing became of that except we all became fast Friends and the best Friendship of all times. Clear through till we graduated High School in 1974. We done a lot of things together through the years from birthday parties to games at School. She was the best friend i ever had...When we had our 10 year School gathering (reunion) we saw each other and squealed and gave each other a big hug,cried,laughed, talked for hours. Malinda you will be truly missed even tho we didn’t live in the same state, town I thought of you so much. Miss you, and a friend forever. Melissa (Conn) Adams.
